The operating system for how Africa moves fresh food.
A third of Africa's food is lost between farm and table. GardenFeast exists to close that gap — connecting suppliers, restaurants and grocers on one platform that handles ordering, logistics, payments and credit, all over WhatsApp.
Why we exist
Fresh-food trade in African cities runs on cash, phone calls and guesswork. Buyers overpay and run out; suppliers chase payment and dump unsold stock; produce spoils in transit because nobody owns the cold chain. The result is high prices, thin margins and enormous waste.
GardenFeast brings the whole transaction into one system — a digital marketplace with embedded logistics, mobile-money payments, freshness tracking and working capital. Better prices for buyers, steady demand and faster pay for suppliers, and far less waste in between.
How we're built
Asset-light
We rent trucks, hubs and riders — never own them. Capital goes into software and float, not depreciating steel.
Finance-led
Embedded credit and early-pay are the wedge. Software organises the trade; finance makes it indispensable.
Africa-first
Built for Mobile Money, WhatsApp and informal supply chains — not retrofitted from a Western playbook.
What we believe
- Cut the waste, share the gain. Every percentage point of spoilage we remove is margin returned to the people who grow and sell food.
- Trust is the product. Reliable delivery, fair pricing and on-time payment compound into a network nobody wants to leave.
- Start narrow, go deep. One city, one corridor, done properly — then expand on proven unit economics.
