This policy explains what information GardenFeast ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and your rights. It applies to our website, apps and WhatsApp services. By using GardenFeast you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account & contact: name, business name, phone number, email, location and role (merchant / supplier).
- Transaction: orders, prices, deliveries, payments, settlements and credit activity.
- Verification (KYC): business and identity details required to open an account or extend credit.
- Usage & device: how you interact with our apps and site, plus standard device/log data.
2. How we use it
- To run the marketplace — process orders, coordinate logistics, and settle payments.
- To provide embedded finance — assess eligibility, set limits, and manage repayments.
- To prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and keep accounts secure.
- To improve our service and send you relevant updates (you can opt out of marketing at any time).
3. Sharing
We share data only as needed to deliver the service — with payment providers, logistics partners, and finance/underwriting partners — under contract, and with authorities where the law requires. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Security & retention
We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls and routine review. We keep it only as long as needed for the service and applicable legal/financial record-keeping.
5. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to certain processing. See our Data Protection page for how this aligns with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
